The Flying Bear Medicine Show, a live jam from Spring '69 featuring various
members of The McCoys, Buddy Miles Express, Linn County, Shades of Joy, plus
Harvey Mandel and Eddie Hoh.
Apparently recorded one Sunday in Spring 1969 at
an outdoor gig at the "College of Marin" It was issued in 1969 on Fontana 6430
007. Four tracks, including one a drum duet between Buddy Miles and Eddie Hoh.
I also assume that the Martin Fierro of the Shades of Joy who turns up on a
couple of tracks on alto is the same one who was later in the Legion of Mary.
